The SKYRC combustion engine heating system uses a similar technology to that used by Formula 1, Indy Car or NASCAR teams. With this system, you can heat your engine to around 60-70° in around 10 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature of course.
With the SKYRC engine heating system, all critical areas of the engine such as cylinders, connecting rods, pistons and housing are preheated, thereby reducing stress and wear on the engine to a minimum. The engine will also start more easily, which in turn relieves the load on the starter box. Since the engine is now already preheated, it no longer needs to be warmed up during operation, which ultimately reduces fuel consumption. The glow plug will also thank you as it will last longer.
It is particularly important for new engines to be preheated optimally before they are put into operation, as they can be damaged very quickly or wear out too quickly during this phase.
